December 2002 - Stardraw introduces Partner Programs for Stardraw.net
In association with the launch of
Stardraw.net, the world's first web-based CAD system, Stardraw
has announced the introduction of bronze, silver and gold partner
programs. These programs offer different ways for anyone who is
interested in or whose customers may be interested in online design
and documentation systems to earn from or implement Stardraw.net
applications.
The first tier is the bronze package, also known as
the Affiliate program. The program, which is free to join and open to
everyone, allows Affiliates to earn a 5% commission from all online
purchases at www.stardraw.com that result from a click-through
from their site. The process is simple; having registered to become an
Affiliate, Stardraw then supplies a link that is unique to each
Affiliate to place on their website. Any customer that follows the link
will be identified and logged, and any purchases they make will be
attributed to the Affiliate's account. Commissions will then be paid on
a quarterly basis.
The silver package is the Stardraw.net Partner
program. Like the Affiliate program, the Stardraw.net Partner program
is also free to implement. The difference is that rather than offering
a simple link back to Stardraw.com, the Partner program allows you to
run the Stardraw.net application within your own website. All that
needs to be done to activate this service is to add a single line of
HTML to one of your webpages and Stardraw will do the rest. No
additional administration, bandwidth or files are required, and all
users will generate a 20% commission for Partners. Furthermore, you
will be given a link to your own personal Partner pages within
Stardraw.com through which you can track all activity and monitor your
account. Commissions are again paid quarterly.
The final option is the gold package or the
Stardraw.net OEM program which offers total flexibility and full
customization of the Stardraw.net CAD engine depending on the customers
needs. Typical features of a customized appliction might include a
design and documentation system delivered through a web page that looks
and feels as the customer specifies, plus a central library of their
products and real time linkage to their back-office systems. Costs and
revenue opportunities are structured according to the individual system
developed.
Stardraw marketing director Rob Robinson commented,
"One of the key features of Stardraw.net is that it is an extremely
powerful yet low-cost tool for system design that we want to make
available to as many people as possible. The beauty of the Partner
programs, in particular the bronze and silver options, is that not only
are we able to reach a wider audience via other people's websites, but
that the Partners themselves benefit from the arrangement. We can offer
not only added value and increased traffic to their site, but a genuine
financial gain as well. It's a mutually beneficial strategy."
