Stardraw Control 2010, a Finalist Again
Stardraw Control 2010, the multi-award winning control application from system design and control software developer, Stardraw.com, was recently nominated for yet another prestigious accolade and has been declared a finalist in the Commercial Control category of the Technology InAVation awards. Previous incarnations of Stardraw Control have already won Technology InAVation awards, firstly in 2007 in the Commercial category and again in 2008, winning the title of Most Innovative Control Product for Residential Use.
"We're delighted to see that Control 2010 has made it through to the final stages of these awards, as it represents a significant step up from the earlier versions which themselves enjoyed so much success in previous years," noted Stardraw.com marketing director, Rob Robinson. Stardraw Control 2010 offers users greater flexibility, even sexier User Interfaces (UIs) and the ability to exploit the ever-increasing processing power of modern hardware. It is also fully compatible with the 2007 version meaning that all current projects can easily be transferred to the new platform and benefit from its improved features and capabilities.
An important addition to the 2010 version of Stardraw's universal control platform is the inclusion of a generic HTTP, or WebServices driver. This means that anything that talks HTTP can talk to any system controlled by Stardraw Control 2010, anywhere. For example, you can use any browser on any device anywhere on the planet as a UI – that includes Smartphones of any kind, including, but not limited to, the ubiquitous iPhone; PDAs, tablet PCs or indeed any device capable of running a web browser and, thanks to support of AJAX, you can have all of the advanced graphical features in your UI that you would have on a full-blown PC running a dedicated application.
Stardraw.com CEO, David Snipp, commented, "Stardraw Control 2010 uses the very latest technology to provide stunning UIs, blazingly fast performance with scalability, reliability and integration with the very latest development tools from Microsoft, making the creation of sophisticated drivers even easier - in any .net programming language you choose. This, together with the ability to be controlled from any type of device means that there are no limits to the level of customization and integration that an installer can provide to their customers. If that isn't worthy of an award, I don't know what is!"
