and now Stardraw.com
March 1st 2000 saw the birth of Stardraw.com :
a new company dedicated to the delivery of applications and services on the
cutting edge of technology.
Stardraw.com focusses
on continuity of service for the family of Stardraw products (Stardraw 2D,
Stardraw Professional, Stardraw Audio and Stardraw Audio Lite). In addition it will be exploring and
exploiting the new ways in which groundbreaking Internet technology can be used
to provide better, faster, more convenient tools for our clients.
In its formation it has purchased
the intellectual property, assets, goodwill and distribution rights for the
Stardraw product range. Meanwhile it
continues to have a very strong relationship with Starlite Systems Technology
Ltd and, in the first of the new company's board meetings, confirmed Starlite
Systems Technology as exclusive UK distributor for Stardraw products.
David Snipp, former director of
Starlite Systems Technology and managing director of Stardraw.com remarked
"You know, both Ray and I kept on getting asked 'Is Starlite a software
company that does lighting, or a lighting company that does software?'. The fact is that for years there have been 2
very distinct companies operating under the Starlite banner, so Stardraw.com
has been set up to make things clearer both for the marketplace and for the
separate operations. I think this will
help people to see we [stardraw.com] are moving forward as an application
service provider. The Stardraw products
give us a very sound foundation and the company is now all about the potential
of new development technologies and delivery techniques. It's a very exciting move."
meanwhile, it's business as
usual
We continue our expansion of (already) the world's largest
library of professional audio and A/V symbols.
