Feature per Month program
This month's new feature is Mirror
: this allows you to create mirrored copies of any
selection and has the added advantage that any text in
the selection is not mirrored.
You can get this important new feature at no cost if you have a
current subscription for your Stardraw product. Follow a link
to download this feature using Stardraw LiveUpdate.
Important Note: the Feature per Month program is
available only to current subscribers of Stardraw Audio, Stardraw AV,
Stardraw Lighting 2D and Stardraw Radio, and is delivered using LiveUpdate.

Web-Based Applications - Stardraw.net
Software provider Stardraw.com is to launch the
world's first web-enabled CAD system at PLASA 2002. Stardraw.net is a
tool that allows one to draw, print and report on system designs. It is delivered
through your internet browser with nothing to
install in the conventional sense, and uses
an on-line library of over 30,000 symbols. Stardraw.net represents a suite of
web-based technologies whose full feature set will be rolled out over the coming
months.
Stardraw MD David Snipp explains "Our conventional applications have
established the sorts of tools that integrators find easy to use and valuable
for system design and documentation. The web-based applications have been
written from the ground up to provide comparable functionality, but they are
designed to run within a web page. This is brand new technology and Stardraw is
proud to be the first company to our knowledge anywhere in the world to offer
full CAD capability via the web. It's a significant development and we're very
excited by it."
Snipp continued, "We are showing these new applications to
manufacturers and other corporate clients who are looking for flexible,
scalable, custom software solutions. The beauty of a centralised, web-delivered
application is that it¹s very easy to maintain and update, and it can link to
realtime data like pricing, stock levels and special offers. Our first custom
web-based application, PanelBuilder, which went live on the RCI Custom website
last month has already been a huge hit."

Stardraw Swells US Sales Force
Stardraw.com has appointed Lee Bennett to the position of National Rep Manager in the US.
Lee will be responsible for managing Stardraw's rep force whose principal responsibility
is the sale of Stardraw's "shrink-wrapped" product range.
According to Stardraw.com Inc president Randell Green, Lee's appointment represents a
vital link in the chain and an opportunity for Green to concentrate on other areas of the
business. "In addition to seeing continued growth in our traditional markets, we
are also expanding into new sectors such as custom development for manufacturers," said
Green. "Lee will ensure that we continue to offer excellent support for our established
core activities, thus enabling me to focus on emerging business opportunities."
