Feature per Month program
This month's new feature is Project Management Reporting: a comprehensive
suite of report templates and new default attributes that allow you
to generate both client-facing and management reports for any design. This new feature
also allows users to define attributes that will be added to symbols as they are inserted into a document.
You can get this important new feature at no cost if you have a
current subscription for your Stardraw product. Follow a link
to download this feature using Stardraw LiveUpdate.
Important Note: the Feature per Month program is
available only to current subscribers of Stardraw Audio, Stardraw AV,
Stardraw Lighting 2D and Stardraw Radio, and is delivered using LiveUpdate.
If the machine you're currently working with has its Stardraw dongle in place,

DMX Standardizes on Stardraw
DMX MUSIC has standardized all system design and
documentation on Stardraw. The premier provider of
professionally programmed music, imaging and message
marketing has begun to roll out Stardraw AV across many of its 26 national offices in the US.
DMX MUSIC carried out extensive research and testing of
available products before they opted to standardize on
Stardraw. Tim Dorwart, VP of Commercial Division for the
Eastern US cited the need for quality over and above
other requirements. "After our evaluation process
Stardraw came through as the clear winner for us in all
categories, but certain areas stood out. The key factor
was the quality of the symbols and the fact they all
conform to the same standard, and the protection that
this affords the database. There is far less likelihood
of corrupt data or a virus sneaking into the software
than in programs that do not levy some form of
qualitative standard. It was also the product that the
sales guys felt the most comfortable with in terms of
ease of use and the ability to produce professional
designs quickly, and that of course is extremely
important."
President of Stardraw.com, Randell Green agreed. "We
have always stressed the short learning curve as one of
the key assets of Stardraw. Most people can be
productive within as little as half an hour. Not only
does this save an enormous amount of time at the design
stage, but the ability to produce professional quality
presentations quickly and easily plays a very important
role in closing the sale."
New Marketing Director
Rob Robinson
promoted to
Marketing Director
Software provider Stardraw.com is
pleased to announce that Rob Robinson has been promoted
to the position of marketing director with immediate
effect. According to managing director David Snipp,
Robinson's appointment was "a natural progression of his
duties, and reinforces an already strong management
team at Stardraw.com"
"Rob has been doing a great job over the last year,"
continued Snipp, "and it was a logical step to have
executive representation of the marketing function at
board level. As well as many years experience in this
field, Rob also has comprehensive knowledge of the
company, our products and the markets in which we
operate, so it gave me great pleasure to be able to
offer him the post of marketing director."
"Marketing is a key element
in the strategic plans we have for Stardraw.com" adds
Robinson "so this is an entirely appropriate move. In
addition to building on the established successes of our
existing design and documentation products, I'll be
growing the new business sectors which arise from our
introduction of new internet-enabled tools and the
custom development services that have already proved so
popular. I also anticipate imminent entry into the
software component market so all in all this is a very
exciting time, my only concern is that there may not be
enough hours in the day."

is pleased to welcome two new members to the team.
Frank Walker has been appointed for technical sales
in the US, and Francesco Marcolini takes on the role
of web developer.
"Our business is expanding daily," said Randell
Green, president of Stardraw.com Inc, "so it is
important that we have the right infrastructure in
place to support growth. Frank has a proven track
record within the industry and a high level of
technical expertise. We're glad to have him on
board."
Francesco Marcolini has taken on the key position of
web developer. "The Internet is an integral part of
our business and going forward it will be central to
everything we do. Maintenance and development of
the Stardraw.com website are only a small element
Francesco's duties," said managing director David
Snipp. "He is a highly skilled and experienced
individual and has already made significant
contributions to the web-enabled products delivered
to OEM clients. Custom-developed, web-based tools
make up a hugely important part of our business and
to deliver world-class products we only hire the
smartest people."
