Feature per Month program
This month's new feature is Circular Array: this
function makes it easy to create copies arranged as a
complete circle, or as an arc. Since you can
specify the number of copies, spacing and/or end angle
this is a powerful and flexible new feature. The
introduction of this feature brings with it a number of
other enhancements to the Paste function.
You can get this important new feature at no cost if you have a
current subscription for your Stardraw product. Follow a link
to download this feature using Stardraw LiveUpdate.
Important Note: the Feature per Month program is
available only to current subscribers of Stardraw Audio, Stardraw AV,
Stardraw Lighting 2D and Stardraw Radio, and is delivered using LiveUpdate.
If the machine you're currently working with has its Stardraw dongle in place,

Stardraw Weblink to Launch at InfoComm
We are excited to announce the launch of a new
service at InfoComm 03 – Stardraw Weblink. Manufacturers
enrolling in the Weblink program can embed custom data
within the symbols that represent their products across
the range of Stardraw design and documentation
applications, including Stardraw.net, the world's first
online CAD application.
The custom links can point to simple web pages, or
retrieve sophisticated parameter-driven information.
Using Weblink, manufacturers can deliver any kind of
resource to customers using Stardraw at the click of the
mouse; web pages, PDF documents, file downloads, records
from databases – any and all information relating to
physical products can now be accessed from the Stardraw
platform by virtue of Weblink.
Subscription to the Stardraw Weblink program can cost
as little as $500 annually and includes custom online
administration tools for the management of Weblink data.
Links can be added globally to entire ranges (for
example, the manufacturer's website homepage), or on a
product by product basis (e.g. product marketing and
technical documentation, or even suggested pricing).
Stardraw can manage data entry for those manufacturers
who do not wish to administer their own Weblinks.
Stardraw Weblink is a convergence tool that enables
the integration of information in ways that have not
previously been possible, and as information becomes
increasingly valuable, Stardraw Weblink puts that
information at your customers' fingertips.

Full Technical Data
from BSS Available in Stardraw
We are pleased to announce that the full complement
of technical data on all BSS products can now be
accessed from within Stardraw design and documentation
packages via URL links within symbols. BSS is the first
manufacturer to take advantage of this powerful new
functionality, due to be formally launched as Stardraw
Weblink.
BSS has supplied Stardraw with links to dynamic pages
on BSS's website that use a script to give users instant
and specific access to all available online product data
through a single mouse click. For example, a single
click on the appropriate link within the symbol for,
say, BSS's Soundweb device takes you straight to the
online data files for that product, whence users have
access to everything from tech specs to user manuals to
images and much more.
According to BSS marketing manager David Neal, this
is an extremely significant development. “This is a
prime example of how technology is integrating in order
to deliver an even more efficient and streamlined
service to our customers. To be able to retrieve all of
our technical information from within a design and
documentation package is a hugely powerful tool and an
extremely modern and forward-thinking solution that is
clearly of great benefit to all concerned. Stardraw has
harnessed the power of the web to enhance its service,
and we in turn are able to make use of that to provide
customer with access to all of the information he or she
could possibly require on our products with just one
click of the mouse. How cool is that?!”
