Feature per Month program
This month's new feature is Online Libraries
: this update to the Library List gives you direct
access to all symbols currently available from
Stardraw's website and means that you no longer have to
download monthly symbol updates. As soon as a
symbol is available it will appear in your Library List.
You can get this important new feature at no cost if you have a
current subscription for your Stardraw product. Follow a link
to download this feature using Stardraw LiveUpdate.
Important Note: the Feature per Month program is
available only to current subscribers of Stardraw Audio, Stardraw AV,
Stardraw Lighting 2D and Stardraw Radio, and is delivered using LiveUpdate.
If the machine you're currently working with has its Stardraw dongle in place,
follow the link to
check your subscription status.
To renew a lapsed subscription, catch up on symbols updates and
qualify for the Feature per Month program please contact your
local Stardraw representative or e-mail sales@stardraw.com
As promised, new features will be added to Stardraw every month,
prioritized, wherever possible, by what you want. As far as we
know, Stardraw is the only application that can respond so quickly

Previews of Stardraw Lighting 3D
The much-anticipated update to Stardraw Professional will be previewed
at international trade shows in the coming month.
Stardraw Professional is the popular 2D & 3D
application for lighting, staging and trussing systems.
First introduced in 1998, it has been hailed as the
fastest way to design and visualise lighting systems.
Using an all-new engine Stardraw Lighting 3D is
set to take Stardraw Professional's crown on its launch
later in 2003; principle considerations in the design of
the new application have been speed of rendering and
ease of use - prospective users will be able to see for
themselves the amazing advancements in Stardraw's
software technology at Pro Light and Sound, Germany, and
NSCA, Dallas, Tx in March.
Stardraw Lighting 3D will offer real-time 3D
rendering with lighting, shadows, gobos, rotating gobos,
light beams and much more. Rendering speeds are
comparable to those seen in the latest generation of
first-person computer games, in other words you can
create your design and move around within it, fully
rendered at multiple frames per second.
Stardraw Lighting 3D is due for release Q3 2003.
