Preview of Stardraw Control at PLASA
Stardraw Control offers a new approach to solving the problem of controlling heterogeneous systems;
for far too long, systems integrators have been locked into closed
architectures wherever system control or signal routing has been
required. Stardraw Control, by contrast, offers a
software-based, unified control framework that can manage any type
of addressable equipment from any manufacturer.
Like other Stardraw applications, Stardraw Control is fast,
powerful, flexible and easy to use. With a drag-drop interface and
intuitive design environment, installers are able to configure
systems and control them without having to write a single line of code.
Utilization of Microsoft.net technology means that control
interfaces are portable and can run on any Windows-enabled device,
from PC to PDA, or Mac, Linux and more.

Muzak Standardizes on Stardraw & The Project System
Muzak is one of the world's most internationally recognized brands. Originally known for their infamous “elevator music”, today Muzak provides sophisticated music, voice and sound systems to over 350,000 clients worldwide. Drawing from a vast and growing library of over 1.5 million CDs, Muzak has an ever-evolving pool of original music programs that can be tailored to the client's specific requirements. Stardraw.com and Dove Net Technologies are pleased to announce that Muzak has opted to standardize their proposal-generation and audio systems design and documentation procedure on Stardraw A/V and The Project System.
The Project System brings to the table a very flexible estimating platform that will be used by the National Accounts Division of Muzak to speed up their estimating process on system installations around the country. The National Accounts division submits an enormous volume of proposals to national chain accounts and The Project System will enable Muzak to turn them around to their clients quickly and efficiently. The feature-set, which includes assemblies, customer-based pricing and the ability to centralize maintenance of price lists, were major factors in this decision. Furthermore, The Project System has a highly flexible form generation tool that allows Muzak to customize the look and feel of proposals according their clients' requirements. The Project System also incorporates a powerful and flexible report generation tool that will allow Muzak to produce a variety of management reports swiftly and easily.
Stardraw A/V provides the front-end drawing package that will enable Muzak to produce accurate and detailed engineering schematics, rack layouts, custom panel designs, sales presentations etc. quickly and easily, thus providing clients and engineering staff alike with an appropriate visualization of the installation concept. Once the system drawings are complete, the relevant information is sent to The Project System for estimating, proposal generation and project management purposes.
Once Muzak matures the various output forms and other tool sets within The Project System and Stardraw A/V, it is anticipated that they will roll the solution out to their other offices around the country.
