US Launch of Stardraw A/V Lite at NSCA

of a brand new application designed for the smaller AV systems integrator.
Stardraw A/V Lite offers all of the powerful drawing and design tools of
its heavyweight sibling, Stardraw A/V, for less than half the price.
CEO David Snipp explains why it is important
to offer a new product for this market sector. “Stardraw A/V is undoubtedly
the most popular off-the-shelf product we supply,” he said, “but it can represent a significant investment which may be beyond
the reach of the smaller contractor. What we have done with Stardraw A/V
Lite is to produce an entry-level package that allows you to create your
designs to exactly the same standard as the top-of the-range version which means an
unbeatable feature set at unbeatable value for money. The drawing engine
and the symbols in the Lite package are the same as those in the full
package but ancillary functions have been tailored for the smaller organization.
In this way, individual contractors and smaller systems integrators
can benefit from all the sophisticated design and drawing tools we
currently offer, in addition to our vast library of high quality symbols, for
only $1,000.”
Stardraw A/V Lite allows you to design schematics, rack layouts
and sales presentations while also offering a general 2D CAD
interface that is compatible with AutoCAD. Furthermore, users with a
current subscription are entitled to free symbols updates, free
program upgrades and free priority technical support. According to
marketing director Rob Robinson, Stardraw A/V Lite represents superb
value for the smaller contractor. “The fact that you can produce
exactly the same drawings and designs as the full application is
fantastic. Stardraw A/V has evolved many features that lend
themselves to the corporate environment, but these come at a price. Stardraw A/V Lite
offers those with smaller budgets an extremely powerful drawing and design tool, unequalled by
anything else the market currently has to offer.”

Feature Update
The latest new feature available to Stardraw subscribers is UI Enhancement:
the Properties Sheet dialog can now be displayed for any selection that
contains multiple objects, whatever their type. This means that it is now
very much easier to set common attribute values for multiple objects and/or symbols
in a single action.
Follow a LiveUpdate link to add this feature and bring your Stardraw installation
up to date.
Important Note: feature updates are
available only to current subscribers of Stardraw Audio, Stardraw A/V,
Stardraw A/V Lite, Stardraw Lighting 2D and Stardraw Radio.
