New Feature - Attribute Lists
New this month in Stardraw Audio, A/V and Lighting 2D is
Attribute Lists. This advanced feature allows you to link any
Attribute to any list stored as a text file, either locally or on a
network resource. Attribute Lists make it easy to enter
attribute values that would normally require lengthy or repetitive typing, or
cross-referencing against a collection of possible values.
Attribute lists make it quick and easy to set, for example, cable
types, connector types, or indeed anything that can be chosen from a
range of values, simply by clicking on a dropdown list.
Users with a current subscription can install this important new feature by performing a LiveUpdate now.
Stardraw Control - New Features and Drivers
The new Panels control allows you to create overlapping panels
that can contain different control elements in a single form, and
swap them at will, for example to offer different control interfaces
for different products within the same parent form. Using the Panels
control it is easy to create flexible, dynamic user interfaces for
all types of application.
The number of drivers for serial and TCP/IP controlled devices
continues to grow, offering full bi-directional control and
monitoring functions. Recently added device drivers include

Hundreds of SKUs added to RackTools 3.0
Middle Atlantic Products has announced that their
complete 2006 product line has been added to RackTools
3.0, their advanced rack specification and layout
software that is based on a Stardraw engine.
RackTools 3.0 has been updated to include the
entire lineup of new offerings for 2006 from Middle
Atlantic Products. To receive the current product drawings and information,
open up RackTools 3.0. That's it! As long as your
computer is connected to the Internet, RackTools 3.0
will automatically begin downloading new content. This
will happen in the background, and won't impact you as
you work.
The new products for 2006 include the PDLT power and
lighting system and the space saving PDT Series thin
