Stardraw Design 7.4's Modules are graphical environments which make it easy to create the drawings that A/V integrators rely on.

Modules - Common Features

Each module features a specific layer structure, optimized document settings, drawing and viewing tools, and each accesses a specific type of product symbol to make it quicker and easier than ever before to create professional system drawings and product layouts. In addition:

  • Full-featured vector drawing tools including Line, Rectangle, Ellipse/Circle/Arc, Text, Dimension - draw anything in Stardraw Design 7.
  • Drawing/editing modifiers including Snap to Grid, Snap to Path, Orthogonal Lock.
  • Unlimited layers with Display and Lock states.
  • Product Browser for adding product symbols.
  • Symbol Browser for adding graphical symbols in DWG, S01 or image formats.
  • Create User Defined Products.
  • Symbol editing.
  • Context-sensitive Properties Grid for defining object styles, Attribute values and document settings.
  • 'Arrange' tools to Align, Distribute, Order and Mirror objects.
  • Available Symbols Palette for efficiently managing product additions made in other views.
  • Insert Picture tool supporting BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, ICO, WMF and EMF formats.
  • Import from earlier Stardraw formats (*.S01, *.SDP).
  • Print to PDF using any PDF Writer

  • High DPI Support: pin-sharp, eye-popping detail on high-res monitors, 4K, 5K, 8K and beyond.
  • Clone Drawing: create a new drawing based on an existing one but with new product instances to create similar but distinct systems.

Additional import/export capabilites are included in specific Modules - e.g. Import PDF to create editable drawings is part of the Plan View Module - and Utilities.

Stardraw Design 7.4's configurable, modular structure allows you to select as many or as few Modules as you need, and you can bolt on additional Modules at any time.
