Lines are too thick when I print or export to PDF

This is the most commonly reported print issue in Stardraw Design 7.4. The cause is almost always the Minimum Printed Line Width application setting.

Go to Tools › Personalization › Application Settings and check the value of Minimum Printed Line Width. This setting defines the thinnest line in any print output — if it is set to a large value such as 2mm, every line in the drawing is scaled up to at least that width, regardless of how individual objects are styled.

The recommended value is 0.02mm. Some users find that setting it to 0 also works.

Note for users with European regional settings (e.g. Italian, German, Dutch): if Windows uses a comma as the decimal separator, enter 0,02 rather than 0.02.

For further guidance, see the Help system or the Thick Lines in Print video.
