Why do Lines appear Too Thick in Print or PDF Output?

Lines may appear too thick in print or PDF output if the Minimum Printed Line Width setting is an inappropriate value. The default and recommended value is 0.02mm or .001" but if the value has been set significantly higher, then excessively thick lines in print or PDF will result.

To resolve this issue, you can check and adjust Minimum Printed Line Width in Tools > Personalization > Application Settings. Try 0.02 mm or 0.001 inches for optimal results and adjust from there. For users with European regional Windows settings, use a comma as the decimal separator (i.e. enter 0,02).

For further guidance, see the Help system or the Thick Lines in Print video.
